I Just Want to Love You – Lalu Metev
🎵 mediterranean chillpop, organic deep house, 92 BPM, baritone spoken word, intimate male vocal, distant pad, atmospheric piano intro, warm analog bassline, subtle acoustic guitar plucks, Rhodes chord stabs, clean electric harmonics, fretless bass slides, baritone sax riffs, tape saturation, spacious reverb, sidechain pumping, sparse verse arrangement, explosive final chorus, bittersweet longing
🎵 I Just Want to Love You – Lalu Metev
[Intro — Atmospheric piano, distant pad]
[Verse 1]
Maybe we don"t need to know
where we"re going.
Just two souls under this sky
too heavy for our eyes.
You went quiet beside me,
and the night melted down.
Everything we didn"t say
stayed between us.
[Pre-Chorus]
If the night remembers
everything we"ll leave behind,
let it keep the small things...
the ones we never named.
[Chorus]
Stay a little longer,
don"t drift away.
There"s a silence between us
we haven"t lived yet.
No promises. No „forever".
No tomorrow to prove.
Just this space between us —
and a silence that doesn"t lie.
[Verse 2]
Maybe time is just dust
falling slowly on our names.
Maybe on every road
we find each other again.
I don"t want to know tomorrow.
I don"t want to hold yesterday.
If I can hear your breath right now,
let this moment remain.
[Pre-Chorus]
And if the years take us
where we won"t see each other,
I hope they leave a little space...
for who we once were.
[Chorus]
Stay a little longer,
don"t drift away.
There"s a silence between us
we haven"t lived yet.
No promises. No „forever".
No tomorrow to prove.
Just this space between us —
and a silence that doesn"t lie.
[Bridge — Minimal piano]
Maybe love isn"t holding on.
Maybe it"s letting go...
without denying
we were here together.
Maybe after we part
nothing remains —
except the air
we breathed as one.
[Break — Absolute Silence / Deep Breath]
[Spoken — Whispered]
We were here.
[Final Chorus — Explosive ambient surge]
Stay a little longer,
let the world disappear.
There"s nothing to conquer,
nothing to fear.
No promises. No „forever".
No ending to choose.
Just this space between us...
and a silence that doesn"t lie.
[Outro — Fading piano, ocean breeze]
And if tomorrow takes you
where I can"t follow,
I"ll leave the light on
in the space you left.
And I won"t ask for anything...
(Pause)
Just this:
to love you now.

I begin in the threshold where a word is not yet born and silence still remembers its breath. I write to shape what insists on being carried forward — not as ornament, but as revealed truth. My practice moves like inner weather: shifts of memory, tenderness, and the questions that refuse to leave us. Genres are rooms of one house — poems, essays, fragments, genealogies, musical sketches — each a voice in a single resonant chord. Even silence has its essential place in that chord. I attend to the small gestures that disclose identity; to the secret bridges between private life and collective memory; to the quiet architecture of the spirit that needs no ceremony. My aim is language that opens rather than decorates — windows through which readers encounter their own inner sky. Form, conscience and intimacy guide me: introspection keeps me honest; conceptual shape grants the invisible weight; moral sensibility anchors each phrase. My professions — poet, publicist, jurist — lean together: law sharpens clarity, poetry humbles certainty, philosophy teaches listening to what is unsaid. If a single thread unites my work, it is this: to transmute vulnerability into luminous strength and to make silence a place of meaning. I am Lalu Metev — Bulgarian poet, essayist and jurist. I write to preserve what is delicate and essential in the human spirit, to follow traces of memory and dignity, and to find where the personal meets the universal. This is the path I walk; this is the voice I follow; this is the presence I offer.
